WELCOME TO THE WESTBURY-ON-TRYM SOCIETY
(an independent voice for Westbury)
A registered charity - No 265486

The Westbury-on-Trym Society is a voluntary organization, set up in 1972, originally to look after the amenities, landscape and historic settings of this 1300 year old village.

What Does the Society do?
• Organises and helps fund the village flower displays
• Provides a voice for Westbury on Trym
• Campaigns – fighting the proposed car park charges and possible Westbury library closure
• Helps to improve Canford Park, clearing flower beds, planting daffodils etc.
• Supports working parties to tidy the village and improve the Packhorse Garden 
• Monitors planning applications and opposes those that adversely affect the village
• Organises talks and meetings for members

Annual membership is £12 or £10 if you are over 60.

Copies have been emailed to members and print copies will be dstributed during the coming week; If any member has provided us with an email address and has not received a copy by email, please contact us at westburyontrymsociety@gmail.com
Printed copies will be available from Westbury Library and the Primary Care Centre by December 5th but, in the meantime you can read and download a copy by clicking HERE
Westbury Hill Car Park Update
The Council has now published its proposed Traffic Regulation Order to introduce charging to all its car parks, including the one on Westbury Hill. You can view a summary by clicking HERE and responses must be submitted to the Council by December 12th.
