The proposals in summary are:

2) High St, from the zebra crossing at the junction of Westbury Hill to the bus stop just South of Church Rd junction, footway expanded by 2m through expansion into existing carriageway. Gaps again for loading and refuse.

3) On Westbury Hill, moving West from the junction with Cambridge Crescent along the South side, footway expanded by 2m through suspension of existing parking bays and expansion into existing carriageway, excepting 20m loading area for shops marked at Cambridge Crescent end. Disabled parking encouraged in car park. Double-yellows outside Tesco left for loading.

4) On Canford Lane on the North side outside Costcutter, footway expanded by 2m through suspension of westernmost existing parking bays. One advisory disabled parking bay marked and existing loading bay unaffected.

The measures will be segregated using water-filled barriers. Tow-away signs, loading signs and distancing signs placed as necessary. Tarmac ramps will enable access to/from new footway areas where needed.
